Neuroblastoma is the devil. It’s a form of cancer that affects infants and children in far greater numbers than most people realize. A malignant tumor that attacks the nervous system, neuroblastoma has been called the “great masquerader” because its symptoms mimic those of many other diseases. Unfortunately, this means that for 70 percent of children who have it, it has already spread to other parts of the body by the time it’s diagnosed. I helped create a strategy and a campaign that personalized the struggle for children with neuroblastoma, unifying the message through online and offline channels and local events, resulting in $2M+ in research funding over a 24-month period.
